(A) — Overview

The second iteration of the Express Cargo platform. Taking the lessons from V1, the product was rebuilt around a single job: getting a shipment booked. The interface gained a darker, more confident visual language, a live network visual in the hero, and a cleaner information architecture that moves people from pricing to tracking without friction.

(B) — The challenge

Version one explained the company. Version two had one job: get a shipment booked. Shippers needed to find a service, see a price and track a delivery without reading their way through a brochure.

(C) — Key decisions

  1. 01

    Booking-first architecture

Services, fleet, pricing and tracking were reorganised into one journey that always points at the next step, instead of separate pages that each had to be found.

  2. 02

Show the network, don’t describe it

An animated network visual in the hero carries the "nationwide, verified agencies" message in a glance, so the copy can stay short.

  3. 03

    A more confident visual language

A darker, higher-contrast design built on the lessons from V1, with light and dark themes and layouts that hold up on small Android screens.

(D) — Highlights

  1. 01Booking-first information architecture: services, fleet, pricing and tracking in one journey
  2. 02Animated network hero that tells the "nationwide" story without a paragraph of copy
  3. 03Light and dark themes, responsive down to small Android screens
